Partners

The centre is part of the African Research Network for Urbanization and Habitable Cities. This is a capacity-building project being funded by the UKRI-GCRF with the ARUA Centre of Excellence in Urban and Habitable Cities based at the University of Lagos, Nigeria, as the lead institution. The project aims at providing a strategic platform for developing research capacities in African institutions to address the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Under the project, the Centre partners with a network of nine (9) other universities in Africa to undertake research exchange and mentorship; themed capacity-building workshops and masterclasses; co-production and dissemination of knowledge output and; scoping studies/working papers.
