Dr Isaac K. Arthur

Dr Isaac K. Arthur is a senior lecturer of human geography and has taught geography and development at Aalborg University. Currently, he teaches and supervises both graduate and undergraduate students at the University of Ghana. He is an interdisciplinary researcher and has researched in areas such as urban studies, planning and development, the experience economy, migration, as well as innovation and entrepreneurship in rural food-related enterprises. Dr. Arthur is the 2022 recipient of the Regional Studies Association’s Membership Grant Scheme Award. He received both his PhD in Planning and Development and MSc in Urban Planning and Management at Aalborg University, Denmark. He also holds an MA degree in World Heritage Studies from the Brandenburg University of Technology, Germany and a BA degree in Economics and Sociology from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi. He is a member of the Regional Studies Association, UK, and an editorial board member of the African Journal for Housing and Sustainable Development.
